Drinking Cup

Drinking Cup
This drinking cup was made from glassy faience and gold. It was dated back to the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, New Kingdom, the reign of Thutmose III (1504-1450 B.C.).

This cup was discovered in the tomb of the Wives of King Thutmose III, in Wadi Gabbanat el-Qurud (Upper Egypt).

It is now on display for the masses in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
