Goddess Hesat was a cow goddess  who  nursed  the  children  of the gods and who gave birth to the king in the make of  the  golden  calf.  As  the  goddess  of  milk,  Hesat satisfied the thirst of world when she provided her divine milk, the beer of the souls. During the 
Late period (747-332 b.c.), Hesat was seen to be the mother of the 
Mnevis Bull and was rewarded  in the bull furore.
