This shape of the Horseis from ivory, garnet and paint. It was dated back to the reign of King Amenhotep III (1390–1353 B.C.), the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, New Kingdom.

It is now on display for the masses in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
