Cleopatra Berenice III was the daughter of
Ptolemy IX and
Cleopatra IV. She grown the official consort of her uncle,
Ptolemy X, after he took over the throne from her father, and been the formers deposition in 88 BC of her father
Ptolemy IX. She gone sole ruler of Egypt upon his death in 80 BC but was special by the
Romans to bear her first cousin and stepson,
Ptolemy XI Alexander II, as her consort. He murdered her within days of their marriage in June 80 BC and was pronto killed himself.
